We haven't played WoW in a long time but back then
"Need achievement to join a raid,
need to join a raid to get achievement"
was the eternal struggle.

Yeah that stil happens from time to time in multiplayer games. Fuck I even do it sometimes although that's when I'm trying to get a fair match against other players not computers. The trick herre though is not to be a dick when kicking someone. Tell them why you're doing it and don't call them noobs or other dumbassery because even if it might be understandable it is infuriating enough already to be kicked.

I was in far more dungeons than raids in WOW, I remember one, it was in the Burning Crusade expansion in the Blade's Edge Mountains. I recall that it was deep in some giant ravine, laced with crystals, and the main boss was a rock giant. I got a random invite. I was a paladin with the highest level PVP gear you could get, and at that time I think PVP gear was actually close to being on par with PVE quest armor of a comparable level?
Anyway, I think in subsequent expansions, they nerfed the ability of PVP armor inside raids and instances in order to make pve armor relevant and worth grinding for? As a result, I could never get into many raids because people at that level understood this, however, the lower difficulty instances like Kharazan, which many describe as a "mega dungeon", required far less people and I was very popular there since I don't think the groups I was in understood the difference between pvp and pve armor, or they just didn't care. Anyway I wasted much of my life in Kharazan., I wish I could have that life back... :(
